Me Matthias Balint

Criminal Lawyer

Me Balint began his academic journey by earning a Bachelor’s degree in French Language and Literature and in Philosophy from McGill University. From the outset, he cultivated a strong curiosity about ethical issues, which naturally led him toward the practice of law.

This curiosity soon evolved into a deep interest in questions of ethics and fundamental justice, prompting him to specialize in criminal and penal law during his law degree at the Université de Sherbrooke. During his studies, he was awarded the Prix Maurice-Delorme by the Barreau de Saint-François, recognizing the student who distinguished themselves the most in a mock trial.

He completed his articling under the mentorship of Me Marie-Joëlle Demers, whose experience and expertise provided him with a strong and solid foundation. Following his admission to the Quebec Bar, Me Balint joined Solution Avocat Criminalistes, where he focuses his practice on criminal and penal law.

His sharp analytical mindset and critical thinking, combined with a compassionate and inclusive approach, enable him to support clients with care and to represent them with rigor and determination.

Me Matthias Balint is a member of both the Association québécoise des avocats et avocates de la défense (AQAAD) and the Association des avocats et avocates de la défense de Montréal, Laval et Longueuil (AADM).
